Meh day

Played a ton today, very happy with my play for almost everything. Played a few 320s that were far under the GTD's, bricked both but that's just variance.
Spent like 2.4k in buyins for the day, just finished 2nd in the 6m 20r on stars at the end of my session for something like 2.4k and a few other cashes so I ended up something like $200, lot better than being down 2k on a saturday!

Promising day

I feel like playing a ton of tables/tournaments today. Let you know how it goes!

short day

Woke up in the evening after playing late last night. only played 4-5 tournies tonight, ended up getting 5th in the FTP $100 6max 30k guar for something like 1.6k, had the ChipLead most of the time from 120 to 7 players left, doubled a guy on the bubble shoving into his kings, and called a flop shove from a maniac at the final table, had top pair against two pair, GG.
Also bubbled the stars 150 6max yesterday for something like $2.5k, had the CL with 8 left, reshipped KQs bvb into ATo and he held, busted a short time later in 7th making a standard shove with 12bb. Playing through those shorthanded tournaments is a ton of fun! You get to play so much more poker than you do in a fullring tournament.

I'm off to workout for once!

my first tilted rambling

I just busted out in fifth in the sunday mulligan on ftp, had kings once during the FT and won 2bb with them. Solid few hours of just blinding down from 50bb to 10bb with trash hands no matter how I tried to accumulate or save chips, then losing 3 flips to bust. I played better and tried harder in this tournament than I ever have before, trying to make every single chip count and making reads based on each persons playing style.

Just wanted to point out that variance is variance, no matter how well you play, or how badly you want it, you can't change the way you run in any given situation or game.

Try to focus on how well you played, or if there was anything you could improve on so your next tournament can be played even better.

Don't let it crush you when you get sucked out on or lose a flip or get it in bad for some hugggeee pot, you're here to make the best possible decision you can at that time in each situation, you're not here to rungood so stop worrying about it.
